OUR MISSION
Have you ever seen something that made you stop and take a second look? Something that made you uncomfortable in a non-specific way? Something that challenged your status quo and you couldn't help but just say "...huh."?
At Kickass Creations, our primary goal is to recreate that feeling and make our audiences think past the typical and superficial. Through extensive research; constant workshopping and experimentation; and consistent communication with your executive or creative team, we strive to bring intensity and nuance to your project. We design, curate, and create pieces for any film or stage production, print publication, or live event we are privileged to work.
We also offer services for your personal and everyday functions, such as hair and makeup for parties, headshots, portraits, weddings, and holidays like Halloween and Christmas. Appointments for lessons and masterclasses coming soon!
Whether that project is a creature design for a large budget motion picture, a character recreation for a convention or event, or a simple corrective makeup for your headshot or reel, Kickass Creations guarantees that you will relay the message you need to spread.

Courtney Kakac is the founder of Kickass Creations and a graduating BFA student at University of North Carolina School of the Arts. A student in the renowned Wig and Makeup Design Program, Courtney has fast-tracked the program with a dual emphasis in Wig Design and Prosthetics Design. Courtney has worked in various disciplines including film, opera, theatre, dance, editorial and portraiture, and live events such as parties and conventions. In her designs, she prioritizes storytelling and balance, with detail and quality always at the forefront. She has a natural knack for replication and imaginative redesigns, incorporating hidden details and easter eggs from source materials in her character recreations, and elements of history, literature, culture, and context throughout her original concepts. With the inception of Kickass Creations, she hopes to invite other artists to collaborate and expand this endeavor to bring thoughtful and impactful creations to the world.
